The last few months have been a whirlwind for our North team, who have not only been busy delivering incredible campaigns for our clients but have also been attending industry events to learn, sharpen their skills and glean marketing insights.

Events in the North don’t get much bigger than this! Featuring headline speakers from Yell and Google, this annual exhibition is designed to help new and existing brands grow their business – especially in the digital sphere.
We visited lots of different exhibition stands, talking with business owners about how to solve their toughest marketing challenges. We also gained several useful insights from the day’s seminar programme. A particular highlight was listening to Dragons’ Den star Rachel Elnaugh discuss her career to date and how she manages to maintain a successful business mindset.
Next on the agenda was a speaking session hosted by our media partner Captify.
A fantastic evening was had by all listening to the MD of Wavemaker Manchester, Emma Slater, discuss her 25-year career in the media industry and the challenges she has had to overcome on her path to success. Talking about her passion for uncovering the motivations behind customer journeys, Emma provided fantastic advice on how marketers can gain advantage over their competitors. It was also great to catch up with our media partners and find out what they’ve been up to.
As specialists in the mature and mobility sectors, we place great importance on staying up-to-date with the latest insights by attending industry-specific events like the Naidex Expo.
Naidex is Europe’s leading exhibition dedicated to the care, rehabilitation and lifestyle of people with a disability or impairment. With over 300 cutting-edge exhibitors, live demos and seminars, the event was an exciting hub of innovation within the disability community. We really enjoyed visiting all the exhibition stands, attending speaker sessions and discussing new industry developments.
In an ever-changing digital landscape, it’s crucial to stay on top of the latest trends and technological developments. So, to ensure that we are up to speed, we attended the IAB Digital Britain conference.
This event was fascinating, offering lots of unique perspectives on how online marketing is evolving and what the future of digital might be. With sessions hosted by Google, IAB UK, iProspect and Spotify, we listened to the latest insights into artificial intelligence, ad-blocking, DOOH, programmatic advertising, the online consumer journey and much, much more.
