As the busiest month in the marketing calendar – especially for the travel sector - it’s been a whirlwind of a January for Accord.
Over the past four weeks, we have created and launched several national campaigns on behalf of our clients across a wide range of locations, channels and platforms. Check out what we’ve been up to below…
To promote their Cruise Miles membership, we produced a TV commercial, featuring renowned journalist and television presenter Jennie Bond as a brand ambassador. Aspirational and informative, it highlighted ROL Cruise’s high-quality service and well-established reputation, as well as the benefits of the Cruise Miles reward programme. Running across C4 and Sky partner channels, the campaign has already surpassed expectations and is continuing to generate a significant increase in direct enquires.
Following an in-depth and highly collaborative rebranding process, we created a series of DOOH ads to raise awareness of their new brand identity and proposition. This included large format Transvision screens at mainline stations, digital 6 sheets and cross track 48 sheets.
Our creative designs promoted Kenwood Travel’s new messaging - “The Art of Escape”. Beginning as an artist’s sketch, these ads are then brought to life using a watercolour effect, transforming mono imagery into bright, bold scenes of holidaymakers enjoying the trip of a lifetime.
Our creative team has also been hard at work helping new start-up travel comparison platform TourHound with their branding. To develop ‘the Hound’ character as a brand mascot, we have created a series of bespoke illustrations and animations that showcase the Hound seeking out the very best travel deals. Alongside targeted PPC activity, these animated videos have run across Facebook, raising awareness and driving enquiries.
To help promote Netflights' “Big Savin’s Sale”, we designed a series of static and digital OOH ads. These appeared nationwide, with key bursts of activity in London, Birmingham and Manchester. The digital formats are highly personalised, using contextual targeting to vary ad messaging and imagery depending on the time and day of week.
Leading UK care home provider Anchor were looking to develop a series of campaigns, targeting those born in the 60s and 70s, to promote their retirement living apartments. To inspire this audience to imagine a happy future in Anchor’s properties, our creative team took a nostalgic approach. Using the design style of that era, we created bespoke illustrations, overlaid on top of architectural drawings of Anchor retirement apartments, to remind audiences of the joy and excitement they felt when buying their first home.
