Flexible working

Work isn’t somewhere you go, it’s something you do, so we've embraced working from home and have an ongoing commitment to hybrid working, as long as we’re getting the job done.  We work in the office two days a week, and three days from home.  Plus, we offer the following flexible hours, with start times of 8.30am through to 10.30am.

Unlimited holiday

To give you more flexibility and a sense of empowerment, we don’t count holidays at Accord, but instead put you in charge of deciding when to work and when to take a break. Your holiday allowance is genuinely up to you - so long as you can get the job done, and it doesn’t impact on the wider team.

Wellbeing

We take mental health and wellbeing seriously, so we are constantly working towards removing the stigma that surrounds mental health, so that everyone feels more comfortable talking openly about it without fear of being judged. We have two qualified Mental Health First Aiders and an internal communications channel where we regularly share useful and inspiring content.

Sabbaticals

We understand that sometimes you may want the opportunity to rediscover old interests and friends, explore new ideas, travel, get fit, take care of family needs, and much more.  So, once you have been with us for two years, you can request a sabbatical of four, eight or twelve weeks, allowing you to do exactly that.

Want to work your way up to CEO or to gradually progress in a specific role?  To get you wherever you want to go, we continue to invest in a variety of training programmes, conferences and seminars, providing you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to advance your career.

Season ticket loan

This is very simple. We lend you the money and you pay it back over a twelve-month period. It really is that simple.  Likewise, we also offer a Home sweet home interest-free loan up to the value of a month’s salary to cover the costs of a rental deposit. 

Giving back

Business is about more than just making a profit.  We are also passionate about having a positive impact on the community and those around us, so every year we choose a charity and then set about organising a series of fundraising activities that drive awareness for important causes and raise lots of money.
