Exolum: better when we work as one.

International oil transportation, storage and logistics specialist, Exolum, asked Accord to help brand their latest conference.

Ffollowing a period of growth and acquisition, the conference the latest in a series, focussed on the need to increase integration across different parts of the business and from across different time zones. We began by building our understanding of previous events and the themes that we needed to expand upon.

Building the narrative

The 2023 conference theme was a celebration of Exolum’s people, their success, and an opportunity to share their achievements. Accord worked with the client to further develop the existing ‘Living our today’ theme by more fully expanding the narrative. We added definition and structure regarding what it meant for the business and how it related to the ‘One Exolum’ initiative, geared around collaboration and growth.

Creative concept

Accord created the Exolum ‘sunburst’ for the event. This unique design was inspired by the ideas of time, reflection and different points of the compass. Bursting into life, it celebrates the collective staff and business achievements of the last 12 months, whilst perfectly encapsulating the themes of the conference. The sunburst created a powerful visual motif that could be carried across branded conference assets, screens and displays.

Delivery at pace

From concept through to delivery, we only had six weeks, which meant working as collaboratively and efficiently as possible to hit that deadline whilst exceeding expectations. See below for the array of print assets we created for the conference.

“We wholeheartedly recommend Accord to any organisation seeking a dedicated and creative partner. Their ability to deliver under pressure, align with brand values, and inspire trust, makes them an invaluable asset to any project. We look forward to the ongoing collaboration with Accord and anticipate many more successful ventures together.”
